Faculty of Communications and Communications Technologies

The Faculty of Communications and Communications Technologies was the second one to branch out of the former Faculty of Radioelectronics in 1987. Its present courses were part of the curricula of other divisions at the University beforehand.
Students at the Faculty can take a degree course in Communications and Communications Technologies with the following 3 specializations:

Radio Communications and Audio/Video Technology
Telecommunications
Technology and Management of Electronics Manufacturing

Some of the subjects,typical of the degree course are:electrical engineering theory,electronic and semiconductor elements, measurements in communications, programming, signals and systems, communication circuits, telecommunication networks, radio waves and radio lines, pulse and digital circuitry, analog electronic devices, radio communications, digital signal processing, fundamentals of television, image and sound processing, optoelectronic systems, mobile communications, radar and navigation systems.
